Homeopathy

The word homeopathy derived from Greek words homoios, which means like and pathos which means suffering. Like cures like is the premise of homeopathy. Unlike drugs, homeopathic remedies don't directly attack the disease or condition. Instead, these substances trigger the body's own self regulation and self healing functions. They stimulate the body to cure itself.

The manufacture and sale of Homeopathic remedies are regulated by the FDA. The marketing of homeopathic drugs is regulated by the FDA compliance policy guide of 1988. Homeopathy is an effective, scientific and well documented method of healing.

Many substances are used to make homeopathic medicines (called remedies): herbs, minerals, insects, poisons, and modern medicines as well. Plus metals, animals such as ants and bees, venom's from snakes.

Remedies are typically taken by dissolving under the tongue. Or pre-dissolve in water and squirt into mouth. "Classical Homeopathic" diagnosis of which remedies to use is made via the taking of a long history of information, then looking up the symptoms in a book called a Repertory, and then matching the remedies with the patient through a book called the Malaria Medics.

There are remedies that work for types of disease as well, for example Rhus tox for arthritis, Sulfur for skin, Arnica for pain. But since pain has many forms and severities, sometimes classical homeopathy will show that arnica might NOT be indicated. If I have a chronic or severe case, classical homeopathic diagnosis is indicated.
